Bindu Madhavi was born on 14 June 1986 in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Bindu is 35 years old and a Hindu by religion.
Bindu Madhavi’s father’s name is not known but he is a Deputy Commissioner in the taxation department by profession. She is 55 kgs in weight and her height is 5ft 6in. She did her graduation in Biotechnology from the University of Andhra Pradesh.

When Bindu Madhavi was in her college days, she began modeling with her first assignment being for Saravana Stores. As she was having the desire to act in films but her family was strictly against this and did not give her permission for entering the film industry. Bindu’s father did not speak to her for eight months and her mother was upset too.
She met a celebrity photographer, Mr. Venket Ram, in Chennai who agreed to do a portfolio shoot for her and this was life-changing for her. Bindu did more modeling and went on to perform in television commercial ads.
As an outcome of her work in a Tata Gold Tanishq advertisement, she was auditioned and selected by the Telugu director Sekhar Kammula to act in his production, Avakai Biryani in 2008. She also landed a supporting role in Cheran’s Tamil romantic drama film the Pokkisham in the next year 2009 and did numerous films back to back.
Then in 2017, Bindu Madhavi took part in the Tamil reality show, the Bigg Boss which was hosted by Kamal Hassan, finishing fifth place.
In 2022, Madhavi entered the digital version of the Bigg Boss Telugu, titled Bigg Boss Non-Stop, and emerged as its title winner, becoming the first female winner of the Bigg Boss Telugu franchise and ending up taking home Rs.40 lakhs for winning the OTT version of the show.
