More About The Lawsuit Involving Johnny Depp And Amber Heard

Let me tell you that Depp is suing his ex-wife, Amber Heard, for $50 million (£40 million) for an op-ed she published in The Washington Post in 2018, in which she portrayed herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

Although Heard did not identify Depp in the piece, he alleges that it has lost him playing jobs. In response to this, she has defended her counter-suing him for $100 million, alleging Depp defamed her by referring to her accusations as “fake” and a “sexual violence hoax” by his legal team.

Both parties accuse the other of being physically aggressive during their marriage, which lasted from 2015 to 2017. They each refute each other’s assertions.

When will the case end?

The trial was supposed to end on Thursday, May 19th, but it was postponed until Monday since there is still a huge amount of evidence to be produced. It will now conclude on May 27th, following which the jury will deliberate.
