The Q Tour, organized by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, is a secondary tour for players who do not compete on the main World Snooker Tour. The 2021/22 WPBSA Q Tour Play-Offs were held at the Q House Snooker Academy in Darlington on May 10-11, 2022, with the winner earning a two-year World Snooker Tour card.
The top 16 players who did not already have a spot on the main tour for the 2022–23 season were invited to compete in the WPBSA Q Tour Playoff, with the victor earning a spot on the main tour. Julien Leclercq triumphed in the final, defeating Alex Clenshaw 5–2.

Q Tour 2021-22 Season Format And Results
The event saw the top 16 players compete for the chance to turn professional from the start of next season, with the exception of World Snooker Federation Champion Si Jiahui and Sean O’Sullivan, who were already qualified. At the wonderful Q House Snooker Academy, which hosted a WPBSA sanctioned competition for the first time, matches were played on eight Xing Pai tables.
Each day featured two rounds, with session hours tentatively set for 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. All matches were best of seven frames up to and including the semi-finals, with the final being best of nine frames.
In the final of 2021-22 Q Tour playoff, Belgian Julien Leclercq defeated English player Alex Clenshaw with a score of 4-2. After becoming the champion in Q Tour Playoff, Julien Leclercq secured his professional player status in the next year’s world snooker tour. Leclercq also earned two-year snooker tour card after his statement win against Clenshaw.
