Kerala Police’s crime department began questioning Malayalam actress Kavya Madhavan on Monday in connection with the actor assault case in which Madhavan’s spouse and actor Dileep is one of the accused, according to the police.

Officers claimed a team of crime branch officials arrived at Madhavan’s home in Aluva, near Kochi, on Monday after she refused to appear before the investigative team, and she was questioned there. The actress was presented with an interrogation notice by the police around a month ago.
The fresh case was brought when director Balachandra Kumar made a disclosure just as the 2017 case’s trial was due to complete in January 2022. The new case has been challenged in court. The Kerala High Court, however, refused to dismiss an FIR alleging actor Dileep and others of plotting to harm and kill officers investigating the 2017 actress assault in April 2022.
The investigation team had already acquired audio snippets that purportedly contained allusions to Kavya. Kavya Madhavan is an Indian actress who primarily worked in Malayalam cinema. During the 2000s, she established herself as a top performer in the profession.
Kavya was born in Kerala on September 19, 1984 and is aged 37. From 2009 until 2011, she was married to Nischal Chandra. Later she married Dileep in 2016 and they both have a daughter Mahalakshmi.
