Former India and DC spinner Amit Mishra explained that Dhoni loves to keep his bat clean, which is why the 40-year-old is frequently seen chewing his bat to remove any piece of thread or tape.
“In case you’re wondering why Dhoni ‘eats’ his bat so frequently. He performs this to remove the bat’s tape since he prefers a clean bat. MS’s bat will not have a single bit of tape or thread on it. Mishra remarked on Twitter,
In case you’re wondering why Dhoni often ‘eats’ his bat. He does that to remove tape of the bat as he likes his bat to be clean. You won’t see a single piece of tape or thread coming out of MS’s bat. #CSKvDC #TATAIPL2022

Details On the Match:
In the 55th match of the IPL 2022, Chennai Super Kings defeated Delhi Capitals by 91 runs at the Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium on Sunday, thanks to a magnificent half-century from Devon Conway (87 off 49) and a fantastic bowling effort from Moeen Ali (3/13).
This was CSK’s fourth win of the IPL season. And they moved up to the eighth place, surpassing KKR in net run rate. The win also maintained CSK in playoff contention. Despite the fact that their path to the last four remains heavily reliant on chance.
Chennai Super Kings scored 208/6 in 20 overs because of Conway’s superb effort. Apart from Conway, CSK relied heavily on Ruturaj Gaikwad (41 off 33) and Shivam Dube (32 off 19) at the crease. Dhoni (21 off 8) and Moeen Ali (9 of 4) finished up Chennai’s innings at the bottom of the order.
Delhi lost K.S. Bharat (8) in the second over of the innings while chasing a large goal. However, his opening partner David Warner kept the run rate up with boundaries and sixes.
