The other participants in this year’s top five were Katrina Llegado from Taguig, Annabelle McDonnell from Misamis Oriental, Pauline Amelinckx from Bohol, and Michelle Dee from Makati.
Celeste Cortesi is the representative for Pasay City. She defeated 31 other contestants and was given the crown of Miss Universe Philippines in 2022.La Mer en Majeste, by Beatrice Luigi Gomez. Luigi Gomez finished in the top five at the Miss Universe of the year 2021 pageant.
The winner Celeste has also bagged the Miss Photogenic and Best in the Swimsuit awards during the ceremony and was named the Miss Aqua Boracay and Miss Avana in the prelim competition.

Celeste Cortesi was born on December 15th, in the year 1997 and is currently aged 24 years, to a Filipino mother and to an Italian father. She was born and raised in Italy before shifting to the Philippines to pursue a career in pageantry.
She is a model, who is training to become a property agent, and has achieved the Miss Philippines Earth title in the year 2018. The Philippines went on to represent the country at the Miss Earth, where she placed in the top eight finalists.
She is one of the third Filipina to win two major national crowns, joining Carlene Aguilar, who was named Miss Philippines Earth of 2001 and Miss World Philippines of 2005.
She is dating Mathew Custodio who is a football player in the Philippines football team. He is the son of a Filipina and a Briton, but he grew up not knowing his father and grew up in the Philippines and loved football because of the influence of his motherโs football fan.
Mathew was already playing football in kindergarten and became the top player of the De La Salle football team in college. She has a height of 5 feet and 9 and a half inches.
