As the NBA regular seasons have ended, the best-of-seven series have started and so are the awards near the NBA Finals. NBA has released some of the finalists of the six awards that honour top performers for the 2021-22 regular season. The six awards included NBA Coach of the Year, Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Kia NBA Most Improved Player, Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, Kia NBA Rookie of the year and Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
As the Most Improved Player’s nominees are out, let’s have a look at the list when the winner will be announced with some prediction and prize money.

Kia NBA Most Improved Prediction, Odds
Garland had an incredible year and averaged 21.7 points, 8.6 assists and shooting 38.3% from three-point range but he was too late as Ja Morant had already shown his magic. The Memphis Grizzlies’ star is a heavy favourite to win at the tournament. The 22-year old is in fact, too good to ve on this list as he was considered to be a huge MVP candidate for his outstanding form.
Meanwhile, San Antonio Spurs ‘ Murray also jumped to giving 21.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 9.2 assists and led the NBA with 2.0 steals. The player with his performance has become the first player in the history of Spurs’ to reach 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists in a season.
All of the finalists in the award became All-Star for the first time this season but Ja Morant is just a superstar level player this season who averaged 27.4 points, 5.7 boards and 6.7 assists powering his side to the No. 2 on the Western Conference.

Kia NBA Most Improved Player Announcement Date, Time
The dates have not been announced yet but they will most probably be declared right after the NBA Finals in June. The awards will be announced on TNT.
Kia NBA Most Improved Player Prize Money
The winner of the category does not receive any prize money but his name is written into NBA history.
