Ashneer Grover, the creator of finance startup BharatPe, recently updated a business “Beyond Snacks: Kerala Banana Chips” that he and co-judge Aman Gupta, the CEO of Boat, invested in on Shark Tank India.
Manas Madhu, the inventor of “Beyond Snacks: Kerala Banana Chips,” who featured on the first season of the show and was the first successful deal of the Shark Tank India, posted a photo of Grover with him. Grover captioned the photo he shared, saying,
“It was great catching up with Beyond Snacks founder, Manas. Kerala Banana Chips was the first deal of Shark Tank Season 1 and it is heartening to see him grow 3x in scale profitability within 6 months!”
Manas’ audition landed him the show’s first contract. Manas’ proposal was intriguing because he brought the flavours of Kerala to life, both literally and metaphorically. His merchandise was even presented by a Kathakali dancer. Know more about his firm:

Beyond Snacks is a firm that makes several flavours of banana chips. In the inaugural season of Shark Tank India, Manas presented his business to all of the judges. As a result, Ashneer made Manas an offer and agreed to invest in his firm. On the show, they asked for ₹50 Lakhs for 2.5% Equity which they got to place a valuation of Rs.20 crore on the business. At the time, the Initial investment: 70 lakhs and Monthly sale: 20.6 lakhs.
