The Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup in 2022 is the ninth edition of the biannual Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, which is held by the International Hockey Federation every two years. It was set to take place in Potchefstroom, South Africa, from December 5 to 16, 2021. However, it was later postponed, with South Africa remaining the host. The event is taking place at the original venue and will run from April 2 to 13, 2022.
Argentina are the defending champions having won the previous edition. This year also, Argentina are one of the favorites to win the tournament.

Participating Teams, Countries And Format
For the final event, a total of 16 teams qualified. Apart from South Africa, which qualified as hosts automatically, 15 other teams qualified from five other continental competitions.
In the preliminaries, 16 teams are divided into four groups and top-two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

2022 Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup Results, Schedule, Date, Time And Fixtures
The Indian women’s hockey team stunned Germany 2-1 in the pool stages of the 2022 Women’s FIH Junior World Cup on Sunday and advanced to the quarterfinals with a second consecutive win in the league stage. India defeated Wales 5-1 in its first Pool D match on Saturday, winning thanks to two penalty corner conversions by Lalremsiami and Mumtaz Khan.
