Prabhakar Sail, a key witness in the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) high-profile cruise ship drug raid case, died of a heart attack at his home in Chembur’s Mahul district on Friday afternoon.
Advocate Tushar Khandare, his lawyer, verified the news and stated that he died around 4 p.m.

Prabhakar Sail is a well-known Indian bodyguard who claimed to be Kiran Gosavi’s personal bodyguard when the cruise ship drug raid case of 2021 happened.
In 1981, he was born in Maharashtra, India. He was 40 years old at the time of his death. He completed his high school education at a private high school and earned a bachelor’s degree from a private institution.
The bodyguard with a height of 5 feet and 9 inches lived in Andheri West and was married with two children. His mother’s name was Hiravati and he had a brother named Santosh Sail.
His Death Cause And Reason
Tushar Khandare, his lawyer, confirmed that he died as the result of a heart attack. His family has no suspicions of wrongdoing.
His lawyer stated that he was stressed out owing to unemployment and had been unemployed for a long period. As a result, he was under a lot of emotional stress, which might have been one of the reasons that prompted the heart attack.

Prabhakar Sail, a 40-year-old Andheri resident, claims to be one of NCB’s witnesses, out of 9. He is also KP Gosavi’s personal guard. In conjunction with the drugs-on-cruise inquiry, he made sensational accusations in a video clip and a written confession.
Gosavi is a rumoured NCB private detective who went popular after taking a photo with Aryan Khan. He is presently on the run from Pune Police after a charge of cheating was brought against him.
He said he witnessed Sam D’Souza and KP Gosavi discussing a money payment over the phone.
According to Sail, Gosavi and Sam met near the Big Bazaar in Lower Parel. He overheard Gosavi on the phone, purportedly negotiating Rs 18 crore money settlement. He was referring to the Rs 8 crores he promised Sameer Wankhede.
Wankhade claimed that he was unaware of the meeting. Because Aryan Khan was also detained, he is unable to accept money from anyone. Wankhede told Midday that he categorically rejected all claims.
A blue Mercedes, according to Sail, came up near Big Bazaar, where Gosavi and D’Souza were waiting. He claims to have seen Shahrukh Khan’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, inside the Mercedes. They talked for fifteen minutes in her partner’s car. KP Later, Gosavi sent D’Souza to the Indiana Bar in Tardeo, where he was given money by two persons. Gosavi eventually gave this to his Vashi home.
