The creation of 100 new Sainik Schools is being conducted in order to give outstanding education to kids as per the National Education Policy and to provide them with increased career opportunities, including opportunities to join the Armed Forces.

It also allows the private sector to join the government in the process of nation-building by training today’s children to become tomorrow’s responsible citizens, which is a goal that both groups share.

List Of Sainik Schools

The 17 schools on the list are currently operational Brownfield schools, whereas the four schools on the list are slated to open shortly as Greenfield schools.

According to the ministry, NGOs/trusts/societies have a share of 12 authorised new Sainik Schools, six private schools and three state government-owned schools. While the exact location to the schools and name is yet to be disclosed, they will be operational for the 2022-23 academic session with them likely to commence in May.

A notification with more information about the procedure will be sent out soon. The new institutions have been advised to students who have already passed the AISSEE-2022. Candidates interested in registering for counselling should go to sainikschool.ncog.gov.in.
