The Indian Wells Masters, held in Indian Wells, California in 2022, is a professional men’s and women’s tennis tournament. It was the 48th edition of the men’s event and the 33rd edition of the women’s event, and it was a WTA 1000 event on the 2022 WTA Tour and an ATP Tour Masters 1000 event on the 2022 ATP Tour.
The men’s and women’s qualifying and main draw competitions were held on outdoor hard courts at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden from March 7 to March 20, 2022.

Taylor Fritz won the Men’s Singles title at 2022 Indian Wells Masters on Sunday, defeating Nadel 6-3, 7-6 (5) and ended the 21-time grand slam champion’s 20-match winning run. Since Andre Agassi in 2001, Fritz became the first American to win the title. Fritz won his second career title, his first since the 2019 Eastbourne International, and his first Masters 1000 victory.
Iga Swiatek of Poland won the women’s title at Indian Wells, defeating Maria Sakkari 6-4 6-1 in the final to keep her winning streak going. The 20-year-old fared better in California’s windy circumstances than the Greek, collecting the first set’s decisive one of seven serve breaks. Świątek became the first Polish player to win a tournament at Indian Wells, and his victory propelled him to a career-high ranking of No. 2 in the world.
