Jebi Mather’s entire family is related to politics and they are quite prominent in Kochi. Because of her family, it is believed that Congress runs in the blood of Jebi. Her maternal grandfather was TO Bava. He served as the KPCC president. The 43 year old is a Muslim.
Whereas her paternal grandfather was KPCC treasurer and his name was KCA Mather. Her father is KMI Mather and he serves as the general secretary of KPCC. She attained her education from Kerala only as she was born there. She also has siblings who are associated with the Congress party only.
Jebi Mather began her career as a local youth activist for congress. Later she became the executive committee member of the youth congress. In 2016, she acquired the post of secretary of the National Youth Congress. This post offered her a number of opportunities as she was appointed in Delhi.
In states like Goa, Assam, Karnataka, and Maharashtra she has headed the training divisions for AICC from 2011-to 2015. Recently in December, she got appointed as the state president for Mahila Congress.
