The 24-year-old Japanese Akane Yamaguchi is a reigning World Champion as she clinched the women’s singles trophy at the BWF World Championships in 2021 and won a gold medal.

Two-time Olympics medalist is among one of the most successful sportspersons in India. Her highest ranking was in the year 2017 when she rose to No. 2 on April 7.
8- Ratchanok Intanon
The 27-year-old from Thailand became the first player from the country to achieve World No. 1 ranking in women’s singles which she achieved in the year 2016 on April 21. She is World Champion of 2013.
9- He Bingjiao
The 24-year-old from China recently ended with the Bronze at the BWF World Championships against World No. 1 Tzu-Ying in 2021. She was ranked as high as No. 6 in 2018.
10- Pornpawee Chochuwong
The 24-year-old Thailand’s Chochuwong won her first World Tour level title at the 2020 Spain Masters against Carolina Marin in the final. She is currently at her highest ranking which she achieved in 2021, March 23.
