In India, the sport of cricket is played in every nook and corner and this is the game where people lost their senses and enjoy it like a small kid. Indians love cricket, speak cricket, dream cricket and just breathe it. Similarly, the IPL (Indian Premier League)is a platform where each player gets prominence and fame, it is the biggest platform for international players as well. While chasing the dream, players sometimes get involved in unavoidable tussles.

From the sputter to wild actions and every kind of fierce fight on the field, here are the top 5 biggest fights in the history of IPL.

1. S. Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh (IPL: 2008)

It was a match between Punjab and Mumbai where two aggressive players were playing with their respective teams. After conquering the match Sreesanth started poking Harbhajan Singh who was playing with Mumbai Indians. Harbhajan slapped Sreesanthโ€™s face in frustration and embarrassment, after getting slapped Sreesanth burst into tears.

To date, it remains the biggest fight in the IPL.

2. Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli (IPL: 2013)ย 

Virat Kohli played with RCB and Gambhir with KKR. KKR was overwhelmed when they removed Virat as he couldnโ€™t digest and while walking back the pavilion he expelled at the bowler which was totally insufferable to the KKR skipper and a scuffle turned out between the players.

Article 2.1.4 was imposed on them for gesture and language that is obscene, offensive, and insulting during the match.

3. Mitchell Starc and Kieron Pollard (IPL: 2014)

Pollard is known to play with the bowlers’ psychology while batting and he does every trick to upset the bowler. This incident took place when Starc was bowling to Pollard and at the last moment decided to remit the delivery and abdicate.

Starc got frustrated by this gesture of Pollard and he threw the ball quite spontaneously, luckily no injury took place.

4. Munaf Patel and Amit Mishra (IPL: 2011)

This nasty incident took place when Amit Mishra, a renowned bowler smashed a couple of boundaries to Munaf Patel in the last over of the 1st innings. Munaf Patel couldnโ€™t tolerate that the last man hit boundaries on his bowling and he uttered few words to Mishra that turned to into a tussle.

5. Harbhajan Singh and Ambati Rayudu (IPL: 2016)ย 

Harbhajan Singh was involved again in the brawl, this time argued with the Ambati Rayadu for not blocking the ball from the boundary which was hit by Saurabh Tiwari from Pune Supergiants. Despite dusty efforts, Rayadu couldnโ€™t stop the ball and Harbhajan became furious and howled at Rayadu.

They both got heated up and yelped at each other, this incident was managed by some of the senior players present in the pavilion.
