The 2008 season was the initial season of the Indian Premier League and drew the attention of a number of eyeballs for some or other reason. During an ongoing match between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians, Indian player Harbhajan Singh slapped another Indian player Sreesanth.

5. Rave Party

The popular duo of the Mumbai Indians team was caught in a rave party by a Mumbai police team. These players were Rahul Sharma and Wayne Parnell. A total of 90 people including some big names of Bollywood were caught in this raid.
