About Claude Lemieux
Claude Lemieux, who resided in Huntington Beach, California, was born in Buckingham, Quebec, on July 16th, 1965. The sports personnel who played 21 seasons in the NHL for 6 teams between 1983 to 2009, was drafted in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft in 1983.
At the time, he was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens, with whom, Claude Lemieux played from 1983 to 1990, and won his first Stanley Cup with the team in 1986. Later, he was traded to Devils, with whom, he played for 5 seasons and grabbed his second Stanley Cup.
During his career as the Ice hockey player, Lemieux won 4-Stanely Cup Championships, including 2 with New Jersey Devils, with whom he additionally won the Conn Smythe Trophy in the 1995 Stanley Cup Final.
With his 80 career playoff goals ranking as the 9th most in NHL history, Claude Lemieux was known as one of the greatest playoff performers. Throughout his professional playing career, he was widely recognised as the aggressor, agitator, and enforcer.
