British streamer Sam Pepper recently got permanently banned from Kick for violating community safety standards. Sam carried out a dangerous firework stunt during a Diwali livestream alongside fellow creators, which included firing Roman candles at each other. The prank seemingly spiraled out of control after a stray shot struck a young girl nearby. Pepper initially reacted with excitement, shouting, “Oh my God!” while another person off-camera yelled, “headshot!”
Just moments later, Pepper found out the girl had been seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. Local witnesses even shared their fears that the victim lost an eye, but Pepper later clarified that she only needed stitches. Sam Pepper has since apologized, claiming the incident was accidental and that he covered her medical expenses. Despite his apology, Kick and Pump.fun, which is a crypto-based site that he collaborated with, swiftly terminated his accounts. In a Discord message, Pepper reportedly admitted:
