Madras International Circuit, Chennai, 06 September 2025: Demonstrating exceptional determination and racing passion, the young Honda Racing India riders delivered a strong performance in Race 1 of Round 3 of the 2025 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F in Chennai, highlighting their unwavering focus on the track.
Adding to the intensity of Race 1, the riders displayed exceptional precision and fierce competitive spirit on the track. The race culminated in a thrilling showdown between the top three riders.
In the 6-lap race, Solomon R made a strong start to quickly take the lead. Maintaining a commanding performance throughout, he crossed the chequered flag with a total race time of 12:42.354 and he also secured the fastest lap of the race at 2:05.199.
Putting up a strong fight and battling very closely with Solomon R, Tejash BA secured the 2nd place, finishing the race in 12:47.034 with his fastest lap at 2:05.701.
The contest for third place intensified as both Amit Prasad and Swaroop Krishna P went head-to-head, each pushing their boundaries for a spot on the podium. Demonstrating excellent control and a consistent pace, Swaroop Krishna P secured the 3rd place with a total time of 12:48.986 with his fastest lap at 2:05.905. It is worth mentioning that Raivat Dhar was the first to take the chequered flag, but due to a jump start, he received a 10-second penalty and was classified in Position 5 with a total time of 12:49.992.

The 2025 season of the IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F comprises five rounds. The season opener kicked off at the Madras International Circuit, Chennai, on 7–8 June 2025. The second round was conducted in August in Coimbatore. Round 3 in September is currently happening in Chennai. The remaining rounds, including the final Round 5, will also take place at the Madras International Circuit, Chennai with the season finale set for January 2026.
