Bangalore, August 6th, 2025: Proudly under the ownership of NR Group’s Cycle Pure Agarbathi, Mysore Warriors secured a thrilling 27-run victory against Shivamogga Lioness Women held at the KSCA Cricket Ground, Alur in the ongoing Maharani Trophy KSCA T20 2025
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Mysore Warriors Women posted a challenging total of 140 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Warriors restricted Lioness to 113 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. The innings was anchored by a magnificent performance from captain Shubha Satheesh, who led from the front with a brilliant 63 runs. Shreya Pote also contributed with 19 runs, forming an important early partnership with Shubha Satheesh. For her crucial knock and leadership, Shubha Satheesh was awarded the Cycle Pure Agarbathi Most Trusted Player award.
The true grit of the Mysore Warriors Women was then showcased through their exceptional defensive game. The bowlers, supported by sharp fielding, executed their plans with precision, restricting the Shivamogga Lioness Women. The team’s collective effort in defending their total highlights a disciplined and effective bowling and fielding unit, ensuring the victory. The pressure applied by the Warriors’ bowlers ensured that Shivamogga Lioness Women were unable to chase down the target, leading to a well-deserved victory for Mysore.
