Archita Phukan, widely known by her online persona Babydoll Archi, recently found herself at the centre of speculation following a bold claim on Instagram. Although she gained viral fame for a reel featuring the track ‘Dame Un Grrr’ by Romanian artist Kate Linn, her background remained mostly undisclosed, other than her association with Assam and a rapidly growing follower base of over 1 million on Instagram.
Many users have questioned whether Archita’s perfectly curated, bold photos are even real with her claimed to be AI generated.
An Instagram account titled Just Assam Things stirred fresh controversy by alleging that Archita might be an AI-generated identity. The post included comparisons suggesting striking visual similarities between Archita’s content and images of other creators, such as Biry Cortez and Anamika Desi. These side-by-side shots showed near-identical outfits, poses, and settings—raising suspicions about digital fabrication.

More examples followed, such as one with a woman in a pink dress (Instagram handle Anamika Desi), another taken in front of DLF Avenue and one more showing a woman who tagged her photo with Kolkata while Archi posted the same-looking photo of herself from Delhi.

The account further hinted that the face featured in Archita’s posts could belong to a real woman from Dibrugarh, though they acknowledged that no definitive confirmation had emerged. Despite these claims, neither Archita nor anyone associated with the supposed source material, including adult star Kendra Lust, responded publicly. It is yet not confirmed if Archita Phukan, an alleged 30 year old Instagram model from Assam is indeed real or AI generated but she recently posted on Instagram about her donating Rs.75,000 to charity.
However, a detailed investigation by the Just Assam Things team traced the visuals back to altered source material, revealing that the original images had been digitally manipulated using advanced AI tools and the face used in the viral content may belong to a real girl from Dibrugarh, but no concrete confirmation has been found so far.
