Lindsey is considered as one of the most decorated female snowboard cross athletes of all time as she has been dominating the sport for almost two decades with the title of five-time World Champion and ten-time X Games champion.
Her Career, Wins, Winter Beijing Olympics 2022 Gold Medal And Achievements
In 2006, during her Olympic debut at the Winter Olympics in Turin, She clinched the silver medal in the snowboard as she ended the game on the note of the course with a 43-meter, three-second lead over Tanja Frieden of Switzerland in the gold medal final but failed to achieve any medal at the next three following Olympics before she won gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Jacobellis during the 2007 Winter X Games unfortunately lost the lead in snowboard cross after she fell near the finish line. She had to abandon the halfpipe from her competition program in 2008 due to the increased number of injuries she had to face.
Lindsey clinched her consecutive fourth gold medal in the snowboard cross event during the Winter X Games in 2011, which was followed by gold medals in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
Lindsey a few days back returned from Germany after winning and making history by winning the World Cup for the 31st time, which made her the snowboarder with the most wins in history. She is also a member of the U.S. Snowboardcross Team.
