In what is believed to be an honour killing, Sana Yousaf, a 17-year-old Pakistani TikTok sensation, was shot and killed at her Islamabad home.
Media reported that Sana Yousaf was shot at close range by an unnamed attacker during the Monday incident. According to reports, the shooter broke into her house, started shooting, and then ran away.

Sana Yusuf was very active on social media and used to share all kinds of videos with fans and had around 492K followers on Instagram.
Police sources revealed that the attacker entered Sana’s house in Sector G13 in Islamabad and fired at her from close range before escaping.
Authorities have shifted her body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a post-mortem examination.
Police have now arrested Umar, aka Kaka, from Faisalabad responsible for the brutal murder of TikTok and Instagram Pakistani influencer Sana Yousaf.

Sana, a native of Chitral in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, became well-known thanks to her TikTok videos. According to some local media sources, the case’s suspect might have visited Sana’s home as a visitor.
“Sana Yousuf, who hailed from Upper Chitral and resided in Sector G-13 of Islamabad, was fatally shot by a guest who had come to visit her at her residence. The assailant fled the scene immediately after the incident, and police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect,” police officials said.
Sana Yousaf, a native of Chitral in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, had a sizable fan base and rose to fame thanks to her TikTok videos. She was well-known for advocating for women’s rights, cultural pride, and educational awareness. The teenager from Chitral was a famous social activist’s daughter.

Her content frequently included humorous reels, inspirational movies, and tidbits about Chitrali customs, all of which struck a chord with Gen Z viewers.
Hours after Sana posted pictures from her 17th birthday celebration on Instagram, the vicious tragedy happened.
Hours after her untimely death, Sana’s final Instagram video went viral, bringing tears to everyone’s eyes.
One of the users prayed for her justice. The comment read, “Oh God she was so beautiful, may her soul rest in Peace Ameen. Hope she gets justice soon”.
