Sheetal Gupta, Shubham’s wife, has filed a formal complaint at the women’s police station in Mainpuri. In her statement, she accused Shubham of ongoing harassment over dowry and claimed that he had maintained an extramarital relationship. She further alleged that Shubham tormented her with videos of his intimate moments with another woman. Sheetal also accused him of physically abusing her, including burning her with a cigarette. She stated how she had previously reached out to the police during one such incident, but the matter was quickly buried.
Sheetal also claimed that Shubham used his political connections as leverage to avoid consequences. Shubham allegedly confined her at home, deprived her of food, and even made threats that no authority could ever touch him because of his family’s political clout. Sheetal has since gone on to file an official complaint with the Mainpuri women’s police station.
Meanwhile, another woman has filed a counter-case alleging that Sheetal, along with others stole and circulated a private video of her with Shubham. The investigation is ongoing as police work to verify the claims on both sides and determine the origin of the videos.
