As if things couldn’t get more complex, viewers discovered that the now-deleted Instagram story of Landon Nickerson and Wizard Liz’s revived TikTok comment implied that the two were married.
After getting engaged in September 2024, they apparently tied the knot quietly and have now split after the cheating scandal.
Nickerson was recently exposed of cheating on his pregnant fiancée The Wizard Liz, prompting major backlash online. Liz made the shocking accusations on May 27, 2025, on an Instagram story. Much to the dismay of everyone, the famous YouTuber cheated on his fiancée despite Liz being four months pregnant. Some reports also claim that the two were secretly married shortly after getting engaged.
According to Liz, Landon secretly created a Snapchat account to reach out and connect with another woman. That woman whose identity is still not revealed later found out about Landon and contacted one of Liz’s friends, to expose his deception with screenshots. Liz, was unsurprisingly shocked and heartbroken, and even announced that she would sell her engagement ring and donate the proceeds to single mothers. Despite the shocking betrayal, Liz has promptly asked her followers not to send any form of hate to Landon.
Liz alleged further details about the situation, including her claim that the other woman on Snapchat was a long time follower and fan of her content and the YouTuber also said she intended to sell her engagement ring which she claimed cost around $100,000 and donate the profit to single moms.
A Reddit thread suggested that Wizard Liz and Landon Nickerson were already married, just days before the adultery scandal went viral online.

It seems that Wizard Liz and Landon Nickerson got married in secret, despite the public’s perception that they were just engaged. Except for one occasion when Liz herself confirmed the wedding, they never discussed it in public. In the midst of the adultery controversy, Nickerson even appeared to accept the marriage, calling Liz his “wife” in a since-deleted Instagram post.
Nickerson has been busy attempting to defend his alleged “mistake” while the internet keeps dragging him from all sides, but it appears like very few people are believing it. Additionally, Nickerson’s now-deleted Instagram story only served to stoke the flames.
He acknowledged using a vintage app to chat an ex when a fan called him out on his behaviour, but he maintained that he hadn’t made a new account specifically to cheat. Although he acknowledged that their marriage was not legally binding, he maintained that Liz was still his wife in all relevant respects.
After a fan called him out in his DMs, writing, “It wasn’t a mistake like ordering the wrong food or forgetting something, no. And you go out there telling people relationships are fake? You don’t want to be this person, but that is exactly who you are. You destroyed the beautiful life you could have by doing this bullshit. Hope you’re happy now,”

He responded, “I didn’t create an account to message someone. I opened an app I’ve had for years and messaged someone from the past. Weak and not okay. Our marriage is not actually legal, but she is my wife. So, it’s a ‘fake’ in some way but real in every other. Again, I sent a couple of texts. Immediately felt bad; should not have done that. Owning it.”
This is directly related to Liz’s heartfelt narrative, in which she disclosed that he had written off their connection as “fake,” a statement that astonished the internet because their love looked flawless in every photo they shared.
