What exactly has happened so far?

We cut to a different day, where Yerin and Ga-in are in Yerin’s office. Ga-in then turns it around and says that the professor has been doing it several times.
To her surprise, the professor states that it’s not a problem because she intends to marry Jaewoo. This causes Ga-in to ask if the professor has just been toying with her. Yerin teasingly “relents” and says that she’ll marry Ga-in as well, causing Ga-in to just become frustrated.
