American professional wrestler Jeffrey Cobb is signed to the WWE as of May 2025.
When Jeff Cobb made his unexpected appearance at Backlash 2025 to help Jacob Fatu retain the United States Championship, the WWE landscape underwent a significant upheaval. Longtime wrestling fans already know Cobb is more than just muscle, but his debut as the newest member of The Bloodline 2.0, introduced by Solo Sikoa, shocked the WWE Universe.

It appeared as though Fatu would lose his gold during the tumultuous Fatal Four-Way United States Title battle at Backlash 2025. Cobb then barged in and attacked LA Knight under Solo Sikoa’s command. Although his meddling allowed Fatu to keep the championship, not everyone joined in the jubilation.
42-year-old Jeffrey Cobb was born on July 11, 1982 in Guam to Filipino immigrant parents and is 5ft 10in tall.
Cobb’s mother’s side of the family is Filipino. Elaine, his mother, was born to Filipino immigrants in Guam. After relocating to Hawaii, where Cobb was born, Cobb’s parents returned to Guam when he was eleven years old with him family currently residing in the US territory which is in the Western Pacific Ocean. Details about his father aren’t known. His relationship status and if he’s single or married isn’t known either.
A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Cobb is an ex-amateur wrestling star who competed for Guam in freestyle wrestling at the 2004 Summer Olympics and after his Olympic stint, Cobb turned pro, he developed a reputation for his unique blend of power and agility. Cobb’s training began under his personal coach, Neil Krantz, for the Guam Amateur Wrestling Federation.
As an amateur wrestler, he represented Guam at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where he became the nation’s flag bearer in the opening ceremony and competed in the men’s light heavyweight freestyle category.
Though Cobb is from Hawaii, Rhyno was born in Detroit, Michigan and the two are not related despite what some rumors suggest. He has no ties to Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, or the Anoa’i family.

Jeffrey Cobb gained notoriety as a part of United Empire during his tenure in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) from 2017 to 2025.
He is a three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion and a former NJPW NEVER Openweight Champion. Additionally, he wrestled for a number of promotions, including Ring of Honor (ROH), where he was a former ROH Television Champion, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he was a former PWG World Champion, and Lucha Underground (as the masked wrestler Matanza Cueto), where he was a former Lucha Underground Champion.
Cobb participated in the New Japan Cup USA in August 2020, defeating Tanga Loa in the opening round before falling to Kenta in the semifinals. Cobb was also confirmed to compete in the 2020 G1 Climax competition, although he was unable to make it to the finals after finishing with 8 points once more. Cobb made a comeback to ROH on December 10, 2022, at Final Battle, where he defeated Máscara Dorada in the pre-show.
On the February 12, 2020, episode of Dynamite, Cobb made his All Elite Wrestling (AEW) debut by assaulting Jon Moxley with The Inner Circle. He unsuccessfully challenged Kenny Omega for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship on the March 29, 2023, episode of Dynamite.
