According to preliminary reports, a woman, believed to be involved in adult content creation, had arrived in the region posing as a tourist. In the now-viral video, the woman and her companions were seen in a partially undressed state inside a vehicle. It appeared that the group stopped the car in a deserted area, where they allegedly called over a local herder grazing sheep and goats. The footage showed the elderly man being coaxed toward the car, following which he was reportedly subjected to indecent acts.
SP Sudhir Chaudhary said, “Do not share such wrong videos on social media. Action will be taken against everyone who violates the order.” In the video, the woman and her companion can be seen stopping their car at a deserted place and the woman then calls an elderly man grazing cattle near her.
The woman who came to visit Jaisalmer not only made an obscene video with the cattle keeper, but also shared it on a p*rnographic website. The accused woman has taken and posted her objectionable pictures at tourist places of Jaisalmer on various social media platforms.
The police confirmed that a case had been registered at the Tanot police station and that an investigation was underway. They stated that they had appealed to the public not to circulate the video further, warning that action would be taken against anyone found distributing the content. Authorities have emphasized that spreading such material online not only violates privacy but also contributes to public indecency.
Local residents, disturbed by the incident, have demanded immediate action from the district administration. They have expressed concern over the misuse of tourist spaces for inappropriate content creation and urged stricter monitoring of such activities to preserve the dignity and cultural integrity of the area. It was also reported that the woman involved had posted n*de photographs taken at prominent tourist locations around Jaisalmer on various social media platforms. Police officials have said they are examining digital evidence and tracing the identities of everyone involved in the video.
