Liverpool Transfer News: Klopp is said to be a keen admirer of the French attacking player with Liverpool interested in a 50 million euro switch

However, one report which seems to actually hold weightage is of Sadio Mane eyeing an exit from the club. Mane’s petulant nature has seen him sulk around on the pitch for the majority of the ongoing season, decadent attitude which has resulted in a calamitous downtick of form for him.

According to journalist Daniel Nielson, Borussia Dortmund are set to bid for the Senegalese superstar before the end of the month. The German side is eager to bring in Mane with the club having resigned itself to losing both Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in the next few months.
And given Mane’s ongoing peril at Liverpool as was highlighted in the fracas between him and Klopp, a move could very well be on the cards.
In the midst of these reports, Liverpool are said to have already eyed a replacement for the Senegalese. According to Spanish outlet El Gol Digital, Liverpool are said to be on the anvil of making a 50 million euro offer for Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona.

Barcelona’s current financial turmoil is set to force their hand with the club willing to part way with the French player in a bid to reduce their debt. Jurgen Klopp who has been a long time admirer of Griezmann is said to be the driving force behind the Liverpool bid.
Griezmann has himself also admitted his affinity with Liverpool in the past with the player talking about why he liked Liverpool back in 2018.
In terms of teams I admire Liverpool because of the fans,” Griezmann had said.
“Hopefully one day they will win the league again.”
Griezmann who has scored on 17 occasions for Barcelona this season still has three years left on his deal at Barcelona. Having made the switch from Atletico Madrid in 2019, Griezmann is currently enduring his most illustrious season at the club.
