Spanish teacher Dulce Flores has gone viral on Instagram after she was arrested
According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s office, Spanish teacher Dulce Flores was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of having s*x with a student during his time at a California school in 2023.

The 33-year-old Dulce Flores has taught at the institution since 2016, according to the police.
Authorities started investigating when a school official complained about the unlawful relationship.

After being arrested at her home on Tuesday and brought to the Stanislaus County Jail, Dulce Flores, 33, was charged with having s*x with a minor.
33-year-old Dulce Flores, who has taught Spanish at Riverbank High School in California since 2016, was taken into custody on Tuesday on suspicion of having an inappropriate connection with a male student, age 17, in 2023.

In 2014, Dulce Flores earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and literature. Flores also works as a beauty expert for a makeup company, according to her LinkedIn profile. She isn’t on Instagram though.
According to the Modesto Bee, the Riverbank Unified School District issued a statement stating that she was placed on leave while the claim was being looked into.
In an attempt to minimize “any disruption to their instruction for the remainder of the academic year,” the district said it has communicated with the families of students enrolled in Flores’ classes and is collaborating with the authorities.
Amid the ongoing matter, Superintendent Constantino Aguilar stated, “This is a very regrettable situation for our district.” “The district will also look to see what options it may have available to independently address this matter while we continue to work with law enforcement.”
Investigation
After learning of the suspected relationship from a school administrator, the Riverbank Police Department opened an inquiry. An earlier controversy that rocked Riverbank High School in 2023 is reminiscent to this one.

Logan Nabors, a 23-year-old former basketball coach, was accused of having s*x with a 16-year-old pupil from 2017 to 2018. Nabors was later charged with oral copulation and unlawful sexual contact with a juvenile.
In the inquiry into Flores, the Riverbank High School District has promised to work closely with law enforcement. She has been put on leave in the interim. The district will speak with parents and children directly about the matter while attempting to minimize any disruption to Flores’ classrooms.
