Video footage of Gareth Bale laughing at Eden Hazard after he was snubbed by Carlo Ancelotti during the Copa del Rey has gone viral
From tearing up the Premier League and spearheading Chelsea’s attack to being a forgotten figure, Eden Hazard’s career has regressed in unprecedented manner. While the player is to blame for his lackluster fitness and persistent injury issues since sealing his dream move to the La Liga, Real Madrid’s handling of the player hasn’t found any favours with the Belgian as well.
He’s been shut out by Carlo Ancelotti with Hazard failing to find playing time in the side’s recent Copa del Rey show exit as well. Up against Athletic Bilbao in the domestic competition, Hazard was left out of the side’s playing 11.

However, as Real Madrid’s attack failed to inspire, Hazard was asked to warm up come the second half with him looking likely to take to the pitch to replace the side’s tiring legs. He failed to get a minute in the club’s 1-0 defeat on the night though with him being asked to return to the bench, a moment which has since gone viral with Gareth Bale seen laughing after Hazard was asked to take his duties back on the bench.

Bale who has completely fallen out of favour at the club in the last couple of seasons was able to find the funny part of the situation as he drew a parallel to his plight in Spain. Real Madrid meanwhile crashed out of the tournament after losing their first match in seven contests as Alex Berengeur scored for the opponents in the 89th minute.
