Days after a 15-year-old boy named Mihir Ahmed committed suicide at his Kochi home, his mother has complained to the police, claiming that bullying and ragging were the main reasons for her son’s drastic choice
Along with requesting a fair investigation, Rajna PM, the mother of Mihir Ahmed has petitioned the Chief Minister’s Office, the Director General of Police (DGP), and the Child Welfare Commission to look into the alleged harassment by the school’s vice principal.
Mihir’s distraught mother has sworn to battle until those who killed her son are held accountable, not just for him, but for all children who should have a secure and nurturing environment in which to learn and develop.

On January 15, Mihir Ahmed, a Muslim by religion and a pupil at Global Public School in Thiruvaniyoor, Ernakulam, committed suicide by jumping from the 26th story of their home in Choice Paradise, Kochi. Mihir was a happy and energetic youngster, according to his mother, who found it difficult to comprehend why he had made such a radical change. She combed through his social media communications and talked to his friends and classmates to find the truth, and she found alarming proof of serious abuse, bullying and ragging he endured at Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor in Kerala’s Ernakulam district.
Through conversations with his friends, schoolmates, and by reviewing social media messages, his parents discovered the horrific reality behind the suicide.
According to his mother Rajna PM, Mihir was subjected to brutal ragging, bullying, and physical assault by a gang of students at school and on the school bus.
Mihir was beaten, verbally abused, and forced to endure unimaginable humiliation even on his last day and his mother claimed that he was bullied for his skin color. A chat screenshot reveals that the accused students messaged, “f*kk nigga he actually died,” after his death.

Rajna claimed that Mihir had been “forced to lick toilet seats” and endured other brutal and humiliating torture.
Rajna PM said, “The evidence we gathered paints a chilling picture. Mihir was beaten, verbally abused, and forced to endure unimaginable humiliation even on his last day. He was forcibly taken to the washroom, made to lick a toilet seat, and had his head pushed into the toilet while it was flushed. These acts of cruelty broke him in ways we cannot fathom.”
“He was bullied for his skin color. They didn’t end the cruelty even after his death. A shocking chat screenshot reveals the extent of their cruelty. They messaged “fxxk nigga he actually died and celebrated his death,” she said.
Rajna said that when she presented the evidence to the school, the administrators only told her that the police had been notified. Instead of accepting responsibility for the alleged abuse, she voiced her dissatisfaction and accused the school of attempting to conceal the episodes in order to preserve its reputation.
A police complaint has been filed, and a First Information Report (FIR No. 42/2025) has been registered at Hill Palace Police Station, Thripunithara.
