Born on 28 September, 1982 in Delhi with his height at 5 feet 10 inches, Viraj Bahl frequently accompanied his father, Rajiv Bahl, to his family’s food factory, which sparked his early interest in the food industry. Viraj’s mother’s name is Vibha Bahl and he is married to Ridhima Bahl with him he has two sons named Rajvir and Ranvir.

His interest grew even more while he worked at the Fun Foods booth in Aahar, Delhi. But before Viraj could join the family business, his father had a requirement that he had to prove that he could provide for the family on his own.

Supported by his wife, Viraj Bahl sold their house to fund his new venture after his first business Pocketful Restaurants shut down in 2013 and in 2013, he founded Veeba Foods in Neemrana, Rajasthan.

Viraj studied marine engineering and earned his degree in Industrial Engineering from 1999-2002 from Singapore Polytechnic after attending DPS RK Puram for his schooling. By 2002, he had earned his father’s trust and approval by landing a well-paying work with a merchant navy company and reaching his father’s financial goal of Rs 3 lakh per month.

When Viraj joined Fun Foods in 2002, he was instrumental in making the company a household name. However, his father’s decision to sell the business to Dr. Oetker of Germany for Rs 110 crore in 2008 marked a significant turning point. Viraj vehemently disagreed with this choice, considering it a personal and professional blow. Even after the sale, the experience strengthened his desire to succeed on his own.

In 2009, Viraj entered the restaurant industry with a brand named Pocket Full following the acquisition of Fun Foods. Regrettably, the business had financial difficulties, and by 2013, all six locations had closed.

Viraj established Veeba Foods in Neemrana, Rajasthan, in 2013, going back to his culinary origins. Veeba rapidly established itself as a market leader by concentrating on producing inventive and superior sauces.
