The wife of Maharashtra BJP MLC Yogesh Tilekar’s uncle, Satish Wagh was arrested by the police on suspicion of plotting his murder.

According to an official, the murder was planned because of the extramarital affair of Mohini Wagh with their former tenant named age 32 civil engineer Akshay Jawalkar who was the friend of Satish Wagh’s son with the two having an affair since 2013 when Akshay turned 21.
Accused Akshay Harish Jawalkar used to live with Satish Tatyaba Wagh as a tenant and at that time, he developed a love affair with Mohini and despite shifting only 500m away back in 2016 and getting married, Akshay’s affair continued. When Satish Wagh found out about this, Mohini Wagh asked Akshay to kill her husband Satish and was ready to pay five lakh rupees for it out of which, she had given one and a half lakh rupees to Akshay. After that, Akshay told Pawan to kill Satish four months ago and Pawan got his accomplice Navnath and Vikas involved with him to whom he had given one and a half lakh rupees. Satish was stabbed to death 72 times.
Satish Wagh of Manjari Budruk, the maternal uncle of BJP MLA Yogesh Tilekar from Pune, was kidnapped and brutally murdered on December 9 and hishis body was thrown into the Shindavane Ghat. Hotelier Satish Wagh was paid by his wife to be murdered due to an extra-marital love affair.
On December 9, Satish Wagh, 55 who was the husband of age 48 Mohini Wagh who was a resident of Fursungi was kidnapped and killed in the Pune district. He was found dead near Yavat on the Pune-Solapur Highway in the district, about 40 kilometres from the location of his kidnapping, after being loaded into a car close to Shewalwadi Chowk in the Hadapsar neighbourhood of Pune city, according to police.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Shailesh Balkawade said, “Mohini Wagh, 48, was arrested on Wednesday after evidence showed her involvement in the conspiracy to kill her husband. It has been found in the probe that Mohini had asked their former tenant Akshay Jawalkar (29) to kill her husband. Accordingly, Jawalkar gave Rs 5 lakh as ‘supari’ (contract) to four others to execute the murder.”
During the investigation, it was discovered that Satish Wagh had rejected the extramarital affair of Mohini Wagh when he learned about it. The Jawalkar family later relocated, but Akshay and Mohini kept in contact. According to the police, Wagh used to beat Mohini up over the matter.

Investigation is going on against Mohini Wagh
Mohini Wagh had asked her former tenant Jawalkar to kill her husband. Accordingly, Jawalkar gave ₹5 lakh as ‘supari’ (contract) to four others to execute the murder, the official further said.
In this regard, police have so far detained Pawan Shyamsundar Sharma (30), Navnath Arjun Gursale (31), Vikas Sitaram Shinde (28), and Atish Jadhav in addition to Mohini Wagh and Jawalkar. According to an official, Mohini Wagh will appear before a local court after her arrest, and the case is still being investigated. Authorities have stated that they are still looking into the issue.
