G Kamalini

G Kamalini was the youngest player bought in the WPL auction 2025 at just 16 years old, and she mainly plays as an all-rounder hailing from Tamil Nadu. Despite her young age, Kamalini stole the spotlight at the auctions going for a price of ₹1.60. She was notably one of the most expensive buys at the auction. The Mumbai Indians (MI) managed to secure the player following an intense bidding war with the Delhi Capitals (DC).

Kamalini is still uncapped, but her recent exploits in the U-19 Women’s T20 Trophy, where she emerged as the second-highest scorer, demonstrated her immense potential. The teenager scored an impressive 311 runs in eight matches, smashing 10 sixes throughout the tournament. Her performances played a key role in helping Tamil Nadu secure a title win.
