In his now-viral post, Thomas shared a photo of his elder sister, LaQuisha Baldtrip smiling at an event for Slow Grind Media, a company founded by Isaiah Thomas.
The professional American basketball player captioned the post, “Ima miss you, big sis!!! Damn, how you leave me too? Two sisters gone!!!! This can’t be real. I love and miss you, Queen.”
Cause of Death
At the time of writing this article, there is no news confirming the exact cause of LaQuisha’s death. Meanwhile, Thomas expressed his anguish on X with a simple but raw message, “F**k.”
Isaiah indicated something tragic had happened when he posted a string of 21 broken heart emojis and wrote “F—!!!!!!!!!!!”
This marks the second devastating loss of a sibling for Thomas, as in April 2017, his sister Chyna died in a car accident on Interstate 5 in Washington.

For the unfamiliar, Thomas, whose full name is Isaiah Jamar Thomas is an American professional basketball player, who last played for Phoenix Suns.
Born on February 7, 1989, in Tacoma, Washington, to James Thomas and Tina Baldtrip, Isaiah had a celebrated NBA career.
Standing at 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m), the professional player played for a number of team in including Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards, among many more.

Thomas’s name has a unique origin with his father, a die-hard Los Angeles Lakers fan, made a bet during the 1989 NBA Finals that if the Lakers lost to the Detroit Pistons, he would name his son after Pistons star Isiah Thomas.
Although the finals took place months after Isaiah’s birth, his parents decided to adopt the name, altering it to the Biblical spelling.
