Colombian international Luis Diaz is all set to join Jurgen Klopp’s mighty side as Liverpool completed the signing of the 25-year old from FC Porto on Sunday.

The agreement for the Colombian winger is now a done deal with the first and second sessions of the medical tests having been completed in Argentina along with two members of the Liverpool staff who were sent there.
As soon as al medicals are over, the paper work is to be signed between Liverpool and Porto but the fee for the player has already been agreed between the two clubs. Liverpool will pay a fee of 40 million Euros upfront and guaranteed, along with an additional amount of 20 million Euros in add-ons.
According to reports, the total cost of the entire package could reach as much as 60/65 million Euros, with personal terms having already been agreed on a five-and-a-half-year deal. He will have an annual salary €3.5million which equates to £56,000 per week.
Diaz had also attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur but instead decided to move to Liverpool when the Reds showed their keenness to sign the 25-year old winger. In fact, it was Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who was very eager to get Diaz to Anfield after the player impressed him with his impactful performances in the Champions League.
