She was an athlete as well, playing basketball, volleyball and competing in track and field meets as well with her height standing at 5 feet 3 inches. She has a younger brother Kyler who was a point guard during his final year at Britton-Hecla while her dad Bill Meyer was the head coach.
Aria received the South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation scholarship, heading into college where she majored in nursing and minored in music and was a member of the women’s choir. Both she and Dallas attended SDSU.
After earning her degree in 2017, Meyer pursued a career in nursing, specializing as a travel nurse and worked at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville and later completed multiple travel nursing contracts.
