People danced to the baba Laddu Mutya song and replicated the video of pankha aka fan baba once the meme and his original photo and story became viral.
A video of a baba with special needs using his bare hand to stop a ceiling fan has gone popular on Instagram. The song “Laddu Mutya” is also playing in the backdrop of the now-viral footage.

Who is Laddu Mutya aka pankha baba as his meme song video goes viral on Twitter/X and Instagram
The pankha baba is seen in the video being lifted by a group of people from a chair so that he may reach the ceiling fan. He repeatedly touches the fan throughout the video before finally turning it off. He then applies the dust to the foreheads of his followers who helped him do this, blessing them.
The ceiling fan spins rapidly again once the devotees drop him back to the ground. A song that is dedicated to him is playing in the background during all of this.
Who is Laddu Mutya aka pankha baba?
According to reports, Laddu Mutya, a person with special needs, ran away from his house in order to avoid getting married. He then reached Bagalkote, Karnataka. He led a difficult existence in the city for the following 20 years, subsisting on “Bhiksha” (alms).
Despite his difficulties, it was thought that success followed him everywhere. If he went to someone’s house, they would make money; if he went to a store, the business would prosper.
People started referring to him as “Laddu Muttya” because they thought he had magical abilities, and as word of his influence spread throughout the area, the term gained popularity.
According to accounts, Laddu Mutya passed away in 1993. In Bagalkote, where he was regarded as a spiritual leader, temples were built in his honour. The man in the viral reels is actually one of the priests from the Pankha Baba shrine, not Laddu Muttya.
