Frogan bio

Frogan, whose real name is Morgan, is a popular internet streamer on Twitch. According to her Twitch profile, she is a “27-year-old public health expert + advocate by the day and self-proclaimed gamer by the night”.

Frogan, born January 2, 1997 is a Twitch streamer and is a Muslim by religion. She is half-Lebanese and half-White. Her father comes from a Muslim family and she is from Dearborn, Michigan. Her mom gave her the name Morgan because she was having a fight with Frogan’s father around the time of her birth and wanted to give her the whitest name.

She mainly plays games like Mech Arena: Robot Showdown.Frogan has quite the following on Twitch with over 54.9k followers. Prior to working as a streamer, Frogan worked as a public health scientist, but eventually quit her job to do streaming full-time back in 2022. She also worked as a moderator for Hasan and mainly gained prominence throughout 2022, which led her to win the Rising Star Award during the 2023 Streamer Awards.

The streamer recently received a 30-day ban on Twitch after her controversial comment on the US military. A short clip showed her commenting:

I will never have any f***ing pity for any f***ing soldiers. US military? Boo, f***ing who. I hope you get PTSD.”

She also added:

The US military that are like yeah, you know I did this back then but now I know it’s wrong like I am changed, f**k imperialism, f**k this, you don’t deserve the PTSD.”

Frogan issues an apology following intense backlash

Following the incident, Frogan garnered a lot of backlash online from netizens. One user wrote:

She disrespected the troops those that put their lives on the line every day she deserved the ban.”

Meanwhile, a second user wrote:

Good she should’ve never disrespected the us soldiers that risk their life every day for us to be free.”

Frogan eventually issued a public apology on X stating:

I go onto clarify in the clip that I do not mean “all” military, but specifically those with no remorse. What I said was out of frustration as they are currently bombing my family in the name of ‘liberation’.”

She further added:

I realize that wishing people harm isn’t the best way to talk about these issues and that I could have talked about these topics more sensitively.”
