A deeply disturbing case of sexual assault by a temple priest has surfaced in Laxmangarh tehsil, located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. A college student has accused the priest of the Kshetrapal temple of drugging and r*ping her. In her police complaint, the victim detailed that both the priest and his driver threatened to kill her family if she revealed the incident.

According to the victim’s account, she had initially visited the Kshetrapal temple a few months ago to offer prayers. There, a man named Rajesh introduced her to the temple priest, Baba Balaknath. The priest offered her sweets (prasad), presenting it as a “blessing.” Rajesh and Baba Balaknath continued to invite her to the temple, gradually earning her trust. Rajesh even took her mobile number to maintain regular contact.
On April 12, the victim was standing outside her college near the Jhunjhunu-Jaipur bypass, preparing for an exam, when Baba Balaknath approached her. Offering to drop her off at her village, he convinced her to get into his car. During the journey, the priest gave her sweets, assuring her they would ease her worries. Shortly after consuming them, the young woman lost consciousness.
Hindu Baba Balaknath gave the girl ‘prasad’ mixed with drugs and she became unconscious.
Baba then r@ped her thrice while his driver recorded the video and then used the video to blackmail her.

In her statement, the victim revealed that while she was unconscious, the priest r*ped her multiple times. Weakened by the drug-laced sweets, she was unable to resist, and when she attempted to scream, the priest silenced her. In a startling revelation, she disclosed that the priestโs driver, Yogesh, had recorded the assault on video.
The priest and his accomplice used the footage to blackmail her, threatening to release the video if she did not submit to their demands. After enduring their threats for some time, the woman finally found the courage to report the crime to the authorities. Once the video went viral, the case was handed over to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ajit Pal for investigation.
