Nikita Porwal of Madhya Pradesh is the current Femina Miss India. She was crowned on October 16, 2024, in Mumbai, by Nandini Gupta, the outgoing titleholder.
The time has finally come that we had all been looking forward to. At the Femina Miss India 2024 Grand Finale, Madhya Pradesh’s Nikita Porwal was crowned Femina Miss India World 2024. She will represent India in the Miss World pageant.

On the same evening, Rekha Pandey from Dadra and Nagar Haveli emerged as Femina Miss India 2024 First Runner-up, while Aayushi Dholakia from Gujarat secured the title of Femina Miss India 2024 Second Runner-up.
The five zonal winners are, Femina Miss India Northeast 2024 – Angelia Marwein, Femina Miss India North 2024 – Sifti Sarang, Femina Miss India South 2024 – Malina, Femina Miss India East 2024 – Riya Nandini, and Femina Miss India West 2024 – Arshia Rashid.

Nikita Porwal’s background
From an early age, Nikita Porwal’s curiosity was piqued by the alluring myths and mythologies surrounding her hometown of Ujjain. Her passion for the stage grew as she immersed herself in the theatre, participating in more than 60 productions and writing the 250-page play “Krishna Leela.”
Even while Nikita’s first passion is still stage acting, she is also keen to become an expert camera operator. She has already secured a lead part in a feature film that is being screened at international film festivals and will be released in India shortly.
Beyond the spotlight, Nikita has a strong sense of compassion for animal welfare, a cause that she finds particularly meaningful. She wants to make a significant difference by using her voice to spread kindness and compassion for all living things.
Rekha Pandey’s background
Rekha Pandey was born in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, currently living the bright lights of Mumbai. Her path has not been typical; as a child, she was a gifted dancer and athlete who found comfort and happiness performing on stage.
Rekha’s early successes and passion for the performing arts have moulded her into a versatile artist who is always improving. Rekha, who is passionate about connecting with something bigger than herself, is dedicated to making a significant contribution to society, particularly to the empowerment of women in rural India.
Aayushi Dholakia
A bright and driven young woman from the Gujarati city of Vadodara, Aayushi Dholakia possesses a special combination of commitment, zeal, and hope. Aayushi, a graduate in Media and Communications, combines her talents as an actress, model, and content creator with ease.
She created history in 2019 when she emerged as the first Asian winner of the Miss Teen International title. Aayushi is talented in several areas, having competed at the national level in handball and having a solid foundation in Kathak.
Stemming from the values of endurance, perseverance, and patience, she actively participates in organizations that promote women’s health, child welfare, and environmental preservation.
Miss India history
In 1964, the inaugural Femina Miss India contest took place, with Meher Castelino Mistri from Maharashtra being victorious. At the 1964 Miss Universe pageant in the United States and the 1964 Miss Nations pageant in Spain, she represented India.
The first Miss India to win an international beauty contest was Reita Faria. In London, UK, she was crowned Miss World 1966. The Eve’s Weekly Miss India competition was won by her.
The first Femina Miss India winner to place first in an international competition was Zeenat Aman. In addition to winning Miss Asia Pacific 1970, which took place in the Philippines, she was crowned Femina Miss India Asia Pacific.
