The Madhya Pradesh native Nikita Porwal is the 2024 Femina Miss India. First and second runner-ups in the beauty pageant were Rekha Pandayy from Union Territories and Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat. Thirty competitors from all 29 states and one from the Union Territories competed in the competition.
With her win, Nikita Porwal will be entitled to compete in the 2024 Miss World competition as a representative of India.

Celebrating its diamond jubilee, Femina Miss India 2024 marked the 60th edition of the renowned beauty competition. On October 16, 2024, at Famous Studios in Mumbai, the grand finale was held, and Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh was declared the winner.
She’ll compete in the next Miss World pageant as India’s representative. The Femina Miss India 2024 jury comprised eminent figures from a range of areas. Among them was Anusha Dandekar, a well-known actress and television host.
Fashion designers and industry professionals made up the other jury members. They assessed competitors on a range of factors, such as personality, talent, and attractiveness.

Femina claims that the beauty queen attended Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School for her schooling and is currently enrolled at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda for her bachelor’s degree in drama and performance.
Nikita’s elder sister, Vaishali Jaiswal, is a CA and her brother Pradyuman Porwal is an engineer at Indian Oil Corporation.
Her father, Ashok Porwal, is a businessman in the petrochemical industry and her mother Rajkumari Porwal is a housewife.
“Be a life that matters, a loss that’s felt” is the motto of her life. The Miss India winner began her career as an actor when she was eighteen years old. She worked as a TV anchor at first. Her love of theater sparked her interest in storytelling as well.
She has been in more than 60 plays as a theatre actor with her beginning her career at the age of 18 and is the author of the 250-page drama Krishna Leela. Nikita is reportedly also in a feature film that will shortly be released in India and has already been seen at foreign film festivals.
