What exactly happened so far?
At present time, Dali tells Pyo how it wouldn’t be right to throw away Hyemin after taking her v*rgin*ty. Especially when she knows what it feels like (flashback to her crying pissed about her v*rg*n*ty the night Hyuna came).
Pyo thinks about the months before with Hyemin visiting Pyo again in the studio and Pyo asking her why she came back when he told her not to come. She gets clingy and narration tells how she started becoming more clingy after their romance.
Dali suddenly tells Pyo how she’s looking forward to seeing how Hyemin’s kid with him will turn out when the parents are both art geniuses so the child can become a protege. Saying she’ll even support the kid like she promised Pyo about sending him to fancy colleges for art.
Another flashback on the island shows Pyo asking about the brainwashing. Dali tells him how she learned it from him when he gaslighted her in the same room years ago. She explains how at that time she didn’t want to leave Pyo on the island when Hyuna died but he kept telling her to go, but she was scared he’d kill himself from the depression.
At the end of the chapter, we see 15 years later, in 2018, in the same neighborhood. Out of sight, Dali yells out how it’s so damn hot outside. Someone else yells at Dali to walk carefully or she’ll sprain her ankle again. (Pregnant?)
