On social media, a moving video that captured the passing of age 50 Garba King aka Ashok Mali has gone viral

Ashok Mali, the Pune Garba King, passed away on Tuesday due to a heart attack while performing Garba at the Navratri celebration event in Chakan, Pune.

During the Navratri festival in Chakan, Ashok Mali also known as garba king, a well-known Garba trainer, suffered a heart attack and collapsed, leaving his fans in sadness.

For the last four to five years, Ashok had worked as a Garba trainer and was respected for his skills and enthusiasm and led Garba sessions during the Navratri season.

Ashok was from Hol village in the Dhule district.

Ashok and his son Bhavesh were seen dancing wildly at a crowded Garba event in Chakan in the widely shared video. The happy crowd was ecstatic with their performance as they moved to the popular song “Ghoonghat Mein Chand Hoga Aanchal Mein Chandni.”


Witnesses said age 50 Ashok seemed to be enjoying himself at first, but as the dance continued, he suddenly felt lightheaded and collapsed to his knees.

The atmosphere shifted sharply as onlookers hurried to his aid. Bhavesh saw the distressing turn of events and hurried to his father’s side. Ashok was swiftly brought to a nearby hospital by the people in the crowd, but tragically, the doctors there pronounced him dead.

A 40-year-old HCL Technologies employee died on September 29 in the company’s Nagpur, Maharashtra, restroom from a sudden heart arrest. The deceased, Nitin Edwin Michael, a senior analyst at HCL Technologies, was discovered unconscious at around 7 PM, according to Nagpur Police, after using the restroom in the Mihan section of the workplace.

According to police, cardiac arrest appeared to be the cause of death based on preliminary postmortem results.
