Episode 15 Love Next Door began with the ongoing tension between Na Mi-sook, and Seo Hye-suk as the two went their separate ways.
In of the scene, we witness Na Mi-sook getting all worried about how Bae Seok-ryuโs troubled past and her broken engagement and cancer might affect how she would be treated by her future in-laws.
Meanwhile, Seo Hye-suk feared the possibility of Bae Seok-ryuโs cancer returning. Despite their friendsโ efforts to help resolve the conflict, the mothers ended up in a heated argument.

However, by the end of episode 15, both Na Mi-sook and Seo Hye-suk finally gave their blessing, allowing Bae Seok-ryu and Choi Seung-hyo to be together. Later, the two women reminisced about their high school days and resolved their issues.
Love Next Door Ending Explained
Episode 16 of Love Next Door began with Jeong Mo-eum being offered her dream job as a safety officer at a South Pole station for a year. However, she was hesitant to tell about this to Kang Dan-oh since they just started dating.
Though, Dan-oh eventually ended up learning the fact through her colleagues and layer he supported her by gifting her warm clothes for her journey. The two promised to wait for each other.
The scene then shifts focus to Choi Seung-hyo who stumbled upon a new restaurant being built where once Baw Geun-sikโs old shop stood. After a brief period of 10 months, Bae Seok-ryuโs restaurant, which catered to people with health conditions was featured in a newspaper.
In the final moments, Jeong Mo-eum video called Kang Dan-oh and Yeon-du, and Kang Dan-oh revealed he would soon visit her in the South Pole for an official assignment.
The series ended with Bae Seok-ryu and Choi Seung-hyo playfully bickering as they headed to meet their contractor to discuss plans for their house.

As Love Next Door finally concluded, the fans of the series are wondering whether there will be another season of the series. However, let us remind you, at the time of writing this article, there arenโt any official confirmation regarding the season 2.
In addition, as all characters of the series moved forward with their lives, it seems unlikely that there will be a second season. Moreover, neither tvN nor Netflix has made any official announcement regarding a possible renewal of the series.
