35-year-old Mia Kang is a Swiss national but she was born and raised in Hong Kong on December 30, 1988 with her height at 1.77m. Her mother is South Korean and her father is British and they first met in Taiwan before relocating to Hong Kong for work. Her parents were both professors and her father worked at Oxford University as a physicist while her mother was South Korean. She has four elder half-siblings, but they were raised in different countries.

Kang graduated from the international Island School in Hong Kong throughout her adolescent years. Kang received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and economies from Bristol University, followed by a master’s degree in finance and financial law from the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Mia Kang is married to Khalil Rountree, a fighter in the UFC, tied the married. The UFC fighter revealed the news by posting a gorgeous picture of the couple celebrating their marriage in an opulent indoor setting on Instagram.

Mia Kang relocated from Hong Kong to New York City, which is home to the majority of the world’s best models, after signing with Trump Model Management in 2015. She was the first Hongkonger to be signed as a Sports Illustrated model, and it was her first modelling assignment in New York City.

She also contributed to Guess campaigns. She won the magazine’s Swimsuit 2016 Model Search in August 2016 after defeating five other models from across the globe in a public vote. She will be featured in the 2017 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was also named a 2017 Rookie of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

But she was not happy at all. In between photo assignments, she was being forced to starve herself and follow a 10-day liquid diet. She was used to going four days without food. She lived off “Black coffee, alcohol, and Marlboro Lights,” and she was obsessed with losing weight. At her lowest, she was thinking about ending her life.

May 7, 2017, was Kang’s first Mua Thai bout as a professional. She was paired with five-time boxer Nong B from Thailand. She won the second round, then in the third, she used “heavy hands” to punch her opponent hard and win via technical knockout.
