The woman in question named Ifat who is pursuing her masters in economics and preparing for UPSC and IB exams has claimed that age 27 Ayesha was orginally a Hindu by religion named Ridhi. She then went onto convert to Islam and change her name. However, her comments are yet to be ascertained with Adnaan and his wife not commenting on them.

In the interview given to YouTube channel Gallinews, Ifat who also claimed that she had won over 70 accolades in sports revealed that while she lived with Adnaan since their childhood, the two were no longer on talking terms.
