Did Shahbaz Ahmad Tie the Knot?
As aforesaid, the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s all-rounder, tier the knot with Dr. Shaista Amin, who is reportedly a Kashmiri native. The couple got married in a traditional ceremony in South Kashmir’s Kulgam village.
The ceremony was held at Dr. Shaista Amin’s residence, quickly captured everyone’s attention after the pictures and videos of the celebration found their ways online.

For the curious, as per Dr. Shaista Amin’s official LinkedIn profile, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS). Her father, Mohammad Ameen Tantray, is reportedly a retired government employee.
Although, they are originally from Kulgam, Dr. Shaista Amin’s family now resides in Srinagar. Media reports claims that, the Indian cricketer who was born in Mewat, Haryana, married Dr. Shaista Amin recently, will have a wedding reception in Palwal, Haryana, which is scheduled for August 10th.
Though as of now, there isn’t much information available about Dr. Shaista Amin. Meanwhile, her now husband, Shahbaz Ahmed, who represents Bengal in the Ranji Trophy, made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2022.
Shahbaz Ahmad made his debut in 2022 as a replacement for the injured Washington Sundar in ODI squad for their tour of Zimbabwe. Later, he was selected for the India’s ODI squad for their series against South Africa.

Initially, Shahbaz Ahmed was studying engineering, however, he dropped out of his studies to pursue career in cricket. Though, he later completed his B.Tech degree during the Covid-19 lockdown.
