Born on January 25, 2000, Remco Evenepoel is a Belgian professional cyclist and Olympic gold medalist, riding for the UCI World Team Soudal–Quick-Step.
Standing at 1.71 m (5 ft 7+1⁄2 in), Remco Evenepoel who is affectionately called as Aerobullet, is the son of Patrick Evenepoel, a former racing cyclist who won the 1993 Grand Prix de Wallonie.

Initially starting his sports career in association football, Remco played for the youth teams of R.S.C. Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven, as well as for the youth national teams of Belgium.
